Comments?

Hey.
If you hadn’t noticed, we’d been getting a shitload of spam comments and no one really had time to go through and delete all of them–so we shut them down.
That said, I’ve decided to reopen comments–hoping for some feedback from you. So, provided we get legit comments instead of “Check out my website” crap, we’ll maintain the public forum.

There are some pretty good spam-catchers out there, depending on who hosts this site. I use WordPress and the add-on I use is nearly infallible (the occasional false positive for trackbacking). I don’t know what sort of CMS you have here, but Google, TypePad, PowerBlogs, etc., to my knowledge they all have some sort of comment-spam protection available. If that fails, the inclusion of a CAPTCHA on your comment form should at least help.
