It is our duty to prepare the younger generation to enjoy a brighter future. Indeed, this includes preparing good environment and fixing problems created by generations before. But of course, you can’t expect that today’s younger generation will respect the environment in future years if you do not change their way of thinking. Parents and teachers should develop environmentally conscious way of thinking. Many daily activities may be included such as recycling, energy conservation and waste management. Children need to grow up knowing that they can make a big difference in their daily routine. But there is even more you can do to teach youngsters about preserving the planet – and the opportunities are increasing by the day.
Educator and environmental experts have designed many education programs to educate children and young adults about the current environmental issues. They also created a list of skill sets which are needed to answers and devise solutions for the future. From in-class curriculum and clubs to after school activities, there are many opportunities for teachers and school officials to implement programs in the classroom.
